Title: Question: About how much do the "blacksmith services" auctions usually end at?
Post by: Sir_Hans on May 15, 2013, 02:33:43 am

I have never really paid attention to these auctions or looked at them near their ending time... but the next one ends in over 3 days so its current bid 5k seems no where near accurate.

Thanks in advance!

Bid and see...I think when they first came out, some went for 80k-100k'ish.

The thing is,
I'd rather not wait 3 days+ and bid a bunch of gold just to find out a ballpark estimate on what they sell for.

Well, blacksmith services you are taking one of your +3 and turning it into 2 loom points and you have to buy that. Most +3 items are worth 2 loom points + gold. So its quite literally worth nothing. If anything that blacksmith guy should be paying you.

Yeah, this is very true, probably why I've never thought of using blacksmith services until now.

But I can't even trade +3 Heavy Lance + an heirloom point for any of the +3's I'm looking for so I'm exploring options.

+3 heavy lances are probably the least valuable +3 loom, and with good reason

the prices got skewed when they introduced heirloom exchange recently.
Im guessing it will end up at 150Kish. All depends on how many MW heavy lance and Crossbow holders there are bidding.

I recently bought the heirloomexchange.. for 380K gold. abit expensive..

Traded my +3 Crossbow for +3 light strange gloves.

Tyvm!!! I didn't realize there was an heirloom exchange service like that... gonna have to look into it... 380k gold is pretty close to the equivalent of a loom point anyways.

The length is nice, and it can get some nice kills from jousting and general charges, but when I ride around with heavy lance on a horse I feel just like a vulnerable target... All enemy cav seem to target me because they know I can't thrust as quickly as they can turn into me with their horse and attack.
The thing is just too slow and too light damage, I already respecced out of lancer cav, but I was having more fun running with a non-loomed light lance/lance more than running with the +3 heavy lance.

Entirely not true, there's quite a lot +3 items which are worth maybe 1 loom point and a half, so even for 150 k it's worth to buy blacksmith services and get rid off e.g. old heater shield or sth like that.
