Title: Chat messsage 'beep'
Post by: OzyTheSage on May 03, 2011, 09:06:12 pm
Don't know if this warrants its own topic, but sometimes I'm too busy paying attention to the battlefield and completely miss chat messages due to them being in the same place as kill messages. (Despite them being in a different color and everything)

I think either the kill messages should be separated from the chat somehow, or chat messages should make a little "click" sound when received. This shouldn't apply to the voice commands.

I also think it would be useful if the chat log preserved text colors.

I don't understand what you mean... you can cheat using sounds?

Or are you referring to "admin is using the health cheat" thing?

using the "health cheat" ...

It doesn't really help us to know you're at 50% of your HP if we don't know your total HP :P

Why it's called Show name cheat , is because we can see people through walls with it, making it unfair for us to know that someone is waiting for us around the corner. I don't know any admins in NA who use that "cheat" when they are alive. We often use it on siege to search for leechers and to spot TKers faster.
