Title: Resetting my PC to factory settings. Do I need to backup character files??

I am completely reformatting my harddrive, is there a character file I need to keep, or is it kept on cloud??

Only your character appearance is stored locally. All your stats are stored on the server.

So no, you don't need to backup.
