http://forum.meleegaming.com/announcements/crpg-status-and-plans/:
3. speed up the gameplay
Apart from the above mentioned speed overhaul, we will also implement a new WPF curve, resulting in higher maximum WPF numbers and buffing those with weapon master skills. You can expect your wpf points to be wiped when this happens.
My apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere, but is there still a WPF change planned and if so is there an ETA?
Just retired and my build will come out very differently, if this is nowhere in sight.
Thank you for your time.

Pretty sure that was their plan at the time, but think their focus shifted to their new project. Out of those 4 points they only really did one of them

soon™

yes, it would be really something nice (normal?) to get a statement about this. I mean, if you don't mean to do this changes anymore (or anytime soon), just say so please.

I honestly think the cRPG we have now is pretty much what we will be playing until it dies. I think the thread referenced in the OP was made before they really made the decision to make their own game and I think we won't see any of it. All those changes require extensive reworks and continous patching and tweaking support, which I don't think they are able to do.
I'd say create your build for the cRPG we have now.

yes, and I think everybody should be fine with that. My point remains, it'd be nice to tell us.

It's bullshit.
