Playing 1257 because it strives for realism and immersion.
Wish there was a decent mod based on antiquity period out there

Light & Darkness, a mod with an actual main story. Episode 1 is out, with 2 being almost finished. http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?board=328.0

And recently a new mod was created, Silverstag. So far not alot is different but soon there will be companion quests, a reworked faction leading system and a bunch of other stuff i forgot. Check it out. http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?board=314.0

Prophesy of Pendor. Hands down the best Singleplayer mod I've played for Warband.

Prophesy of Pendor, by far the most enjoyable experience I have had. Features hugely OP NPC's which balance your brain a little bit. Best thing is the late game objectives and lots of other elements that can keep one playthrough interesting for far longer than any other mod.

Also, 65p, 152 length and 103 speed Ruby Greatsword, usable on horseback  8-)

A lot of the mods are very good, but I hate that most have terrible animations.  Just leave them default please

Was playing one where you have injuries after the battle, and like all of my companions are gimped for weeks because of it...not a big fan of that either.

Usually you can find a way to take off the animations. It is done by editing the actions.txt file. Search the thread of the mod in question and you should find it.

(Those "new" animations everyone loves so much are freaking TERRIBLE.)
