Title: Invisible weapons and heirlooming help

Hello,

I'm about to retire for the 1st time.  I bought a long espada eslanova to heirloom, and its not showing up in my inventory.  I heard this is a bug, and it will be resolved...someday.

HOWEVER...I'm about to retire!  My question is, do I have to heirloom an item upon retiring, or can I retire first and then pick an heirloom in a couple weeks once the bug is fixed?

No, you have to pick it right away.
