Title: To Whom It May Concern.
Post by: 7000bc on May 02, 2011, 08:16:41 am
Greetings Holy Namechangers. This is TheLastAirbender speaking. I would like to request a name change to TheLastAthenian. Some of you may know that this was my name earlier, and that with the new name change rules, I cannot change it back easily. It would be very kind of you to allow this one name change back to my original name. I do not wish to be stuck with the name "TheLastAirbender", so whoever changes the names, would you be so kind as to approve my change please?  Thank you.

Free name changes were there for months. Now the old policy is back, only tags and typos (whatever that means) are allowed to be changed.

I don't want to be mean but we will not start approving name changes based on forum topics.

Isn't this done manually in the DB because lazy chadz didn't coded something to do it ?

I think it's why there are limitations.

Why are we back to the old policy? WHY?

I like to change a name sometimes, from Aiko to Arya and back etc. Why was it allowed for such a long time and now we are suddenly not able to change whole names again? Why?

I understand, but I must say, that if this changes back, it will be my last. All I ask is to save my dignity. You have my word.
