Hey, apparently I was banned by Tydeus. (12 hours)
I am at work, with ping that spikes to 300+ 3-7 times every round.
I was geared out with peasant clothes, a torch and a pitchfork. So I'm sure it appeared that I was leeching.
I did this for 3 maps. Got roughly 4-8 kills. I stepped away to help a tech at the counter (at work) at the very beginning of a round, came back and was banned. No warning. Nothing. I think someone may have jumped to conclusions a little too quickly.
I have never been banned for leeching. I was using the torch, and attacked with it, but got all my kills with the pitchfork.
People that were on that can attest to me not being completely useless.

It was kind of obvious Noodles wasn't leeching, he was trolling around a bit but was contributing more than other players on the team. Noodles is always someone you want to have on your team. On the flip side I will admit I saw him not attack the last player alive when he had the chance, but that's not even unusual in this community and definitely not ban worthy.
It's no surprise to me Tydeus did this, and he was in spectator mode the whole time so his decision probably won't be changed regardless. I have nothing bad to say about Tydeus as a person or player, a good chum if I do say; but his decisions as an admin are consistently questionable at best.

He may of been trolling around with some people, but he was not leeching. Its obvious if he has 2 kills and 4 deaths, noodles does not have a history with leeching, hes usually at the top of the boards with over 20 kills. Like he said he was at work, he had ping issues and he has to tab in and out of the game. I really don't think he deserves at 12 hour ban.

Yes, what Equal said is also true. I did not attack the very last person the round before, but I did not interrupt my teammates or body-block them. Ask Rohypnol, he was the one leading the charge.
Also, if my ban may be on the fact that I was using the torch... then why is it in the game? Like I said, I carried around a pitchfork for when enemies enclosed and horses.
I'm sorry, one more thing... I get confused with Noobie_ATS a lot. People sometimes think that I was him or he was me. He has a notorious ban history for leeching. I have none. Please differentiate.

You admit in that particular round, you were clearly leeching as you were away from your computer for a significant amount of time. If you think you deserve a warning every new play session for things you've received warnings for in the past, you're wrong and it's naive to think so.
Furthermore, and I feel this is a more important point to bring up due to the posts in this thread, this idea that one cannot be leeching simply because he participated in other rounds, is absolutely absurd.
Edit: As people clearly are not aware, he was banned not for his inaction at the end of a round, but for hiding in a bush at spawn for the first two minutes of a round, until I removed him from the server.
Edit 2: I know exactly who Noobie is, as well as who you are.

Tydeus, I walked away from my laptop for less than 2 minutes. i participated in the previous rounds and maps. What if someone has to take a shit, you pan over and they aren't moving. Ban? What if someone's dog has to go outside, you pan over... Ban them? What if someone knocks on the door, someone receives a phone call, someone throws up, someones food arrives... ban? really?

I'm pretty sure I was there for this. Noodles is far from useless, and even with 300+ ping as a peasant can fuck my shit in battle.

I do believe this only warrants a kick, LEECHING and going AFK are fairly different. Ban for leeching, kick for going AFK. Regardless hopefully this can be withdrawn due to the fact he's apologized and normally a really great contribution to any team.

He was in peasant gear banking money and trolling a bit for sure, he was playing though. I fought him several times.

I could have warned you after a minute and then decided to remove you after it was clear that you weren't there, which would be to the same effect. Or are you indeed suggesting that everyone should unconditionally have two or more 'chances' every time they launch crpg? It isn't as if you have never been warned or kicked for leeching, it's just that you don't have a ban for it(until now).
That being said, I am well aware of what you're saying. Things happen, sometimes you simply cannot remain at your computer. I would suggest that you try to become more aware of when you choose to spawn. When you have cases like this that arise, you should leave the server, it takes less than a second to press 'Esc' then click 'Quit'.

Also, warnings and mutes incoming. Thanks for all the important posts that added absolutely nothing to the conversation, showed that none of you actually read(or comprehended) anything, and only tempted me into leaving the ban up after I had already decided to remove it.
Furthermore I'd like to remind everyone that you are not allowed to post on this forum unless you make a ban request, are target of a ban request or witnessed the situation yourself on the server.
You will get warned and eventually muted if you do it anyway.
You might have witnessed him playing in one round, but you did not witness the inaction that got him banned. Him choosing to participate in one round, does in no way imply that he simply must be participating in another.

I humbly request that you not mute, or warn anyone, as they all seemed to have valid input besides Ryden who is just... Ryden. (and is essay-banned).

Not spectate, you need to actually leave the server. This is because of auto-balance issues as well as other possible exploits.
