Post by: PauliniusX on March 28, 2013, 01:16:06 am
I got valour in a battle (not siege etc). What does it mean/do?

Depending on how many points you score (usually around 30-40) you will gain a multiplier, regardless if you lost the round. You gain points by hitting enemies and staying in groups with your team when you engage their team.

you get valour when your score that you gathered during that single round is double the average of your team. as espwn explained: you get a extra multi, wheter you lose or not.

wasnt the question what it does and not how u get it? :?
there are 2 options, in both options you gained valour (blablabla thy valour on the...): 1. your team looses - you had x1 and next round x2 2. your team wins - you had x1 and next round x3
you got it?

So basically, it just increases your multiplier by x1? Is that a lasting effect? Or just for that particular session?

basically yes. its a lasting effect. so when you had valour and have x3 next round your team wins but you dont have valour its x4.

The extra multi doesn't show up until you get your first XP/Gold tick the next round.
If your team loses, you'd normally go to x1 on the next round. The very next time you get xp/gold, your multiplier will then go to x2 (and your xp/gold for that tick will reflect that).
If your team won the previous round and you got valor, you'll be x1 more than you start the round with, on the very first tick you get.
Also, what no rules said is accurate for how you get valor, as long as you have more than double the average score for your team, during that round (I've heard others say it's as long as you have double score or higher than the average of both teams, but that doesn't make sense to me).
