Title: The miracle in the North
Post by: Penguin on March 27, 2013, 10:11:29 pm
Froyo: There will be no glory in your sacrifice. I will erase even the memory of Jesus and Company from the strat 4 histories. Every piece of holy parchment shall be burned and every bible historian and every scribe shall have their eyes put out and their tongues cut from their mouths. Why, uttering the very name of Jesus or Mcdeath will be punishable by death. The world will never know you existed at all!

Jesus: The world will know that free men stood against a tyrant, that few stood against many and, before this battle is over, that even a wizard can bleed.

Don't forget the part where I said your mother was a tramp!

But witnessing the might of Our Lord has truly sparked a fire in my soul. Let it be known that from this day on that my pact with the devil has ended, I shall no longer be a servant to Lucifer.

Praise thy name, Jesus!

Yeah, but had we not capped their flags we would have won due to the timer.

It was a simple matter of a 12 mercenary disparity, along with a rather large skill disparity. We had some of the very best mercs in NA there due to some outrageous recruiting on behalf of our Lord. Leadership was also excellent, even though people didn't listen to Tydeus as much as they should have.

Ah yes, the ol' Jesus switcharoo. He won't mention of course, that they were supposed to retreat at the start of battle, and that we would refund him his gear. Oh no. Let us not forget that this fellow was supposed to sell his goods over a week ago, though did not inform us he had not. No, let us not forget he changed his name without informing us. So as any unknown thief we attacked him.

We were then informed after we attacked it was in fact MC_Death, who is now MC_Diabetes that sold his goods a week later, as he was unable to prior, with our 1000+ S&D. He joined Jesus and Co "5 minutes before we attacked him". He also joined Semenstorm 5 minutes after we attacked him.

All I can say is that these folk went back on our agreement of battle. Took advantage of good hearten peasants agreeing on an unfortunate circumstance. So of course Jesus went from TS to TS spreading his word. Trying to gather as many followers to his cause against us.

If more folk like Jesus were able to roam the lands, where would that lead us?

Also I am sorry about what happened. But don't make yourself out to be the victim arys. You attacked a trader who wants no part in any fight and you lost.

Another thing all the mercs that were hired I had asked prior to our agreement. If you did not notice I was not around for the battle. My dreaded real life came into the picture when I was out at a fucking funeral. So thank you for everyone that fought. GF, GG, GD, No RE

Don't forget the part where you came back just in time to begin marching south as soon as the battle was over. That was the real miracle

To be honest, the day before the battle mcdeath asked me if I was going to be around. I told him no and wished him good luck. He said he wouldn't be around either.

It is likely that he set his move order before the battle was over. You can do that many, many hours before the battle ends and you will begin moving automatically.

Or he's a filthy liar, I dunno.

You seriously creep the fuck out of me, and I'm scared to look at any of your photos, for fear that the creepys will get me. But they entice me at the same time. What kind of stuff do you do IRL that contributes to being scary as fuck?

Thank you for this observation, it brings to light the fact he most likely set movement before the battle. This gives us two options. He set a movement point away from us before the battle, implying he never meant to stay around after his retreat to get his gear he needed oh so badly. Which leaves us with the second option. He knew of the plans to stay and fight, all the while our agreement still stood, making us rather lackluster on the recruiting for said "battle".

I guess this is a learning experience. We must give neckbeards the iron nails of the light spiked club. No exceptions, no compromise, no beard trimmers.

On topic I wish I was here for the battle. That would have been funny to experience from either team's TS channel.

Let it be known that I take no part in treachery. If there was some kind of agreement, I was not aware of it. I was simply there to help recruit and make the call to retreat if we were overran. I am an honest man, and tricks or betrayals would only rob me of the divine satisfaction of beating the forces of evil.

the divine satisfaction of beating the forces of evil.

If that makes you feel good, wait 'til Samigina appears and tempts you to fall unto the black angels:

They aren't tricks they're illusions.

Jesus parted the red sea for my men to win this fight. How can you explain that as illusion? This fight was not won by chance, luck or skill but by divine intervention.
