Title: What players are the biggest assets to a winning team?

What the title says. What players (preferably a list of 3 - 5) have the most positive impact on a team to help them win? Note, this does not mean "who are the best players."

Here's my list, just quickly off my mind. (NA)

1. San of Chaos
2. Remnant Sauce
3. SaulCanner
4. Canary of Chaos
5. Cyranule

Honorable Mentions:

Raven Zan
Ascalon
Tanken
ROHYPNOL
(A few others, can't think of their names..)

There are dozens of people worthy being in the top 5 in NA alone, as I know many deserving players will get left off people's list.

Develize used to be on that list for me but after a few cav nerds and him being banned he seems a little rusty. I probably wouldn't have Rohypnol on there, sure he's good but far from a team player I also hear krutchbot is good at putting the team on his back. There's some tkov guy (possibly skrubbin) who has saved my x5 multiple times with amazing last stands but I forgot his name.

Im ranking these by aid as a teammember not by best induvidual skill(like OP but thought to mention anyways)
1.San/Rohy as Maul
2.Saul
3.Canary(for ability as a team player)Sauce and uhhh r.......gigglebyte(for their clutch ability)
4.Any of the good archers(Agile, Robin, Kesh) because of how much damage they do during the round.
5.Hard to put a 5th here...hmmm ill fill it in when I think of something.

Other HUGE factor-Clan teamwork in order to win rounds. Aka-u wana be on their side
1.Chaos(Holy shit a couple nights ago.......)
2.Remnant
3.Raven(when there is alot on) or, i know this is self promotion, but astralis(for namo, luk, phantasmal, agile, bull)

I'm going to be depressed until someone mentions my sick KDs. Most of the time I'm only a hair behind Rohypnol's scores. I'd venture to say that at the moment I am the #1 NA 1H cav mercenary.

Edit: Just realized this was talking about pub servers and not Strat battles, I take back what I said.

I'll list some people I personally like to have on my team that I assume won't be mentioned as the most obnoxiously predictable list of best heroes:

Phantasmal_Damsel
The Raven shieldwall/pike/thrower stack
Applesauce
Conqueefador
Lastkaze
King_Itchy
Negga/Kampi/Pup/etc
Sosarian (even though he's a filthy crutcher)
Chevalier_Bonsai_Sans_Cheval

And many more.

Meh, I am not much into this "hero" mentality. Does having San or Rohypnol in your team help? Yes, a fucking lot. But they don't win alone. The team wins, or loses, together.

But aw well, here's my arbitrary list of people I like to see in my team:

Agree on San and Frug. Both of them make for amazing end-of-round stacked against the odds fights. rohypnol is definately not a team player, but if he doesn't get balanced off your team your multiplier will be much more stable.

The Kings of K:D use a regular banner (the triple green boar) and roll the NA 1 server with style. If they are on and you are losing, try fighitng under the banner of three-pig. They will carry you, but not on purpose.

3)canary or kreczor when pike/longspearing

Funny, I like their raps but have never seen them as a threat. When I'm playing as cav I de-horse them just as much as anyone.

Except San. That Sanovabitch is even on cav my nemesis.

These guys I love having on my team, and are always on my hit-list whenever I find myself against them.

1. Rohypnol/Jrab/San

All three of these guys top the leaderboards when they're on and they are always one of the last people to go down in the battle server.

2. Sosarian

The man may be an armor/str crutcher but he is damn good at it. I have seen him thrown into 1v8 situations and come out alive. Not to mention he has survived a headshot from a MW arbalest and +0 steel bolts  :shock:.

3. Namo/Luk

I may be biased on this one, but whenever I am being chased they always help me out and kill the guy. They are also consistently near the top of the boards.

4. Bonsai

I cannot count the number of times he has guarded me on open field maps from enemy cav. This man is a saint.

5. Any shielder that takes incoming enemy fire while I reload behind them

You guys fucking rock

Dishonorable mentions:

Cavalry because there is no such thing as friendly cav.

Not really.  Back when I played cav on my main I happened to end up top scorer fairly often when my team won, yet average at best if we lost.
