Tismirr

Tismirr will still be a free trading area, but you have to ask now before you start trading. This new rule was introduced because we are sick of guys who steel our S&D without asking. Everyone who comes in our area will be attacked if he starts trading in this area, without asking before.

well the point of a Free Trading fief actually would be that noone would need to ask.

As there is also already 20+% taxes on any transaction within Tismir, you always make a profit no matter who is using the S&D.

If you want to use it yourself to sell either you need to have patience :) Conquisitore
or approach me and we can do a separrated deal over Khudan S&D which but would be an exception to the rule as we mostly need that ourselves.

Also you could increase the taxes upto 25% maximum, which then over time would net you a bigger general income, but i would advice not to, but increase the prosperity so that more goods could be sold there and you have the same effect.

So it's still a free trading area...except that anyone wanting to trade has to ask permission or is automatically attacked?

So its more like, you CAN trade if you ask as a honest person, but doing it without asking results in counterattack... Sounds kinda reasonable for me, I like it.

Indeed. It's a completely normal model and it's perfectly reasonable. To put it in context: You're free to live however you want within the law, but breaking the law has consequences. A Gentlemen's trade agreement of sorts.

If you wanted to keep it 'free trade' you would be better of setting a minimum SD

eg any SD above 500 is free trade SD

Therefore you will always have 500 SD for yourself and it will save everyone having to pm and wait for a reply.

As Kinngrimm said you can increase prosperity..

The tax you make and with the 500 reserved SD you should make plenty of income


(should also save you a few expensive battles)

Tismirr belongs to Risen now. Maybe it will be a free trading are again?
