HACKED

While that would indeed be cool, it'd be also a tremendous amount of work, because AFAIK, all possible combinations would have to be an own entry in item_kinds1.txt. If you made only speed and damage configurable, it would already lead to 10 entries per item, not counting the damaged versions.

While cumbersome, that is not unfeasible. I would be more worried about balance issues.

How about we remove looms and allow me to play any class I want to its full potential?
kthxbye

I can imagine this change would get a little crazy if someone went for all speed on an already-fast weapon, could be too quick for the animation to be seen properly.
Good idea, though. More customization of builds is nice (without reworking the current system!).

Don't exaggerate. If every heirloom lvl would allow to increase speed of weapon by 1 point, instead of current +1 speed and +3 dmg at +3, there would be e.g. +3 speed and -3 dmg at masterwork lvl. Not big deal I'd say.

Go play Native qq nub

native?
No, cRPG without levels and looms is not the same as native, you know that. Native with custom characters and proper balance, that is what I would like cRPG to be. Fuck the grind.

meh, would cause more work than fun, also would probably destroy the games balance once and for all
just sayin
