Title: is that bannable?
Post by: Tony007rammstein on March 13, 2013, 03:56:51 pm
Saw this guy camping on a glithy roof (Shokoshugi Tiborur). So i wondering is it allowed and if it is not - make an official warning to him, i dont want him to be banned.

only if he was the last man standing in his team. it also depends how he got there: if he used eg a siegeshield and he is last man standing. yes i think it i.

He was at nasty places like this all the time (if I am not confusing him with someone else, but there was a guy glitching all the time like that today, in that map). I don't think glitching is tolerable in any case. Don't want him to be banned for such a petty reason though.

Edit: Check the other thread about lacoste and bozdağ. They are related.

im sorry, i was wrong. here a quote from the official rules:
Quote
Glitching is allowed, being an asshat isn't
OK: hiding (e.g. in the hay)
NOT OK: hiding when last man standing (i.e. delaying)
NOT OK: using a siege shield to reach a roof that can't be reached normally
NOT OK: camping unreachable places
NOT OK: exploiting invisible barriers
NOT OK: going out of map bounds (if you can see unfinished parts of the map, then you should not be there)
NOT OK: ladderpulting

I'm sure such places are not planned as a part of map, which is called glitching. It is a fault by mapmaker not to block acess to those parts. Nord town was and has always been the most glitchy map throughout the history of warband.
