Title: Just retired - quick Q

I changed my name. Will my old character name update if I join a new server, or do I "make a new character" on the "join/host" screen? Feel like I've read threads about this screwing people over before.

You would have to make a new character ingame once the change is done.
If you don't then it will count the old name as a new alt.

Uh. Just re-name your current character in-game, on website change is done right away.

That is if I got your issue right  8-)
