Title: Long Pavise Cav Shield ??

As i looked at the stats of the items something took my attention.
Lets have a look at this :

Are devs too lazy to describe new items again or is this just some unfixed thing ?

I do not see the problem,Long Pavise Shield is smaller of Heavy Board Shield

Fix the other shield pls, 2 slot but 7 weight. Add some kg maybe. Or better, make it 1 slot.

So now cav has an extremely durable shield that also covers allmost the whole body?

Allmost ?

40 width means someone 30 degrees or more on your right or left will shoot through it, unless you got insane shield skill.

With 6 shield skill and a somewhat heavy horse,you could ride every archer to mush.

exapt the point of more width (16), there is no reason anymore to use the heavy board shield at all...

i like the Long Pavise Shield, but on horse its just overpowerd in my opinion, just reduce the armour and hit points a bit and it will be still the best cav shield but not that good on foot

if i look on that pic i have to say that it is as well a bit to height (15-20 points) compared to what was the heavy board shield was meant for

He also has a heavy round/ huscarl type of a shield that we can't use on horses in crpg. In 1 word - SWAG .  :wink:

Hard to notice after the horse headshot and headshot on the ground after being thrown from their dead horse.


Also, you guy really don't know what 40 shield width means.

I demand double drums to be added on horseback to be added.

With in a 10 yard or something radius cavalry cant be reared, lol.
actually a pretty good idea, this would just allow for team charges, cause in melee theyll have to split up to not get chopped down too quick, and either reqroup or ride slow and dend the drummer. Sounds cool to me.
