Title: Leech XP exploit
Post by: Ecko on April 30, 2011, 08:14:00 pm
I hate posting stuff on the forums like this because it could allow more to exploit...

I just was told that if someone calls an admin a leecher via the system, and the admin does not respond, the player gets a multiplier and the admin doesn't get kicked.

Easily exploited without a way for me to know.

that is indeed possible.

what the abusers appaarently dont know is that every nomination is logged in the db.

some servers/admins are in for a suprise.

I reported this yesterday too, hope it gets fixed soon. Also, the leeching nomination really needs a cool down because you can easily spam them on people that have crashed, netting you a very high multiplier.

EDIT: Another exploit is using this feature when dueling someone, the timer should be increased to 20 or 30 seconds.
EDIT2: Not sure if intended but you can use the leecher report on someones corpse, getting people who alt tab after dying kicked.

I'll keep updating this post as I discover new exploits.

Maybe only when the spawn time ends? I often alt+tab if I die and go surfing the nets.

Submitted this and few others via PM I would like to keep quiet because of their insane server-wide griefing potential. (And because I just noticed this was here, derp).
