Title: Name change takes 3 days?

Hello I currently have the name 00th_Huntous and I am looking to change it to Teutonic_Cazador. All of the times that i have changed my name it was usually done within the day or sometimes the hour. I am just wondering if this is the new waiting time?

maybe already rejected?

 00th_Huntous is not similar to Teutonic_Cazador > so maybe you have to do the change at the point you retire or...

That would a be a full name change if you want it from Huntous to Cazador

Name Changes are for typos and clan tag changes. While they might accept it the way you are describing ptx, it should not be. Only upon retirement can you change your full name.

they will see this isnt a tagchange and just not allow it.

well im sry if i gave a wrong or bad recommendation

but anyway > i cant find a rule about namechanges in the forum or im to stupid for searching in the right way... someone can help me out...?

when you click the rename button it says this

"For a fee of 1,000 gold you can fix typos or add a clan tag. Full name changes are only allowed when retiring. All requests are manually reviewed so it might take a while until it is accepted."

Here's what you do. Change your name to Huntous_Cazador. When that gets accepted, change your name to Teutonic Cazador. They'll accept the first one because it retains your original name, then they'll allow the second one because it retains an aspect of your name, ya dig?

You just need to find a corrupted admin and contact him on some of the shady streets of IRC.

Sometimes you need to grease them up a lil...

Options:

1.) Request the full name change until someone accepts it; someone will eventually, even though they are not supposed to.

2.) Request the name change to something similar. So if your name is Bourbon_Boxer and you want to change it to Sally_Sitter, change it to Bourbon_Sitter and then Sally_Sitter. This is the "right" way to go about it AFAIK, and it doesn't implicate anyone responsible for name changes as corrupt/overstepping their authority.
