30 slot Ravens of Valhalla server:

Will be set to duel by default so there's a place to go say if there's a ton of strat battles going on but the main use is a clan scrimmage/practice server.

Also, did you know that Odin had two ravens? the traditional viking raven flag was a single bird, but if you ever feel like messing with it down the line, you could always try a pair.

Was thinking Diggles wanted to do up his own post, but he was fed up with lack of Dev/community interaction/involvement and Kesh being admin aboozed out of the game was one of the the last straw for him.

Diggles was only ever serious about crpg. I learned a lot from Diggles, he taught me (and many others) the value of teamwork. He was also hilarious on TS even then. He will be missed.

Apprentice? Nah, we went head to head pretty well. Pretty even scores, I think I won the first map by a hair, and lost the second by almost double. Still am disappoint those two cav ruined a possible duel, and at you for letting them kill you.

Extraordinary fighting in our battle last night, guys. I'm sure you know just how important having an organized shieldwall is. Our random/hero shielders would see you with like 7 dudes in formation and get right in there with you. It's also so important that the shieldwall maintain some idea of formation while pushing, and you guys had the coolest goddamn shield wedge I've ever seen. I don't know if you practice that shit, but it was fukken awesome.

tldr; thank you for being good shielders so my clan can be retarded 2h/pole builds.

For the 3pm EST Kedelke fight, I have stacked the roster to the best of my ability. Only NA at this time that needs to get on is your Rotfeast. I won't be there until 5-10 mins before the fight. Try to keep the roster I have set for best results; I consulted with some nerds to reach a consensus on which EU mercs to sign.

BTW are you able to pay mercs for last night battle? doesn't work for me when I try, page loads but no payout goes through. Maybe Daruvian has too but usually I am able.

Relit tried to teach me how to cRPG when I joined. He had to leave half-way through. I still have pieces of Relit in my playstyle and armor choices, though I split off from his doctrine due to lack of spearmen around me, and the fact I always thought he used a long spear not a pike...

Also, 2 hours learning to block? I had two whole kills my entire first gen, and one of those was a lucky headshot with a throwing axe to Mars' unarmored face. Two hours learning to block was nothing compared to how much practice it took for me to get decent at this game.

I use both. Shields are an extra health bar that can be refilled on the fly by picking up another. However, there is a run through no mans land between that refill that I'd like to stay alive through. Plus, you are a good two-hander. Even my gf thought you were a badass when she observed you. I personally thought you should stay that way.

Its never been all that restrictive, its mostly common sense stuff. Even back in NH days, the official list was never fully fleshed out and was more of a 'suggestion' to the newer members. Spin is helping us out by finishing it up this time, so people interested can see the completely list.

Thank you all for the well wishes. I had a exciting birthday. I was woken up around 9 AM by a doorbell and a group of my friends carrying a casket. Which we placed in the living room and used as a snack table for the cookout. While we were all laughing at my flannel bathrobe and looking at it, one of my ilustrious Army buddies put a dead fish in my room. He put it inside of a sweater that was hanging up in the back of my closest, using paperclips he was able to hang it on the inside of the sweater so it was not easily found (took me a couple of hours).

Hamburgers and hotdogs for everybody, a sort of birthday/early fourth of july part followed that fun morning, then lots of alcohol was consumed in the evening and much fun had by all. My birthday cake was huge, baked by my best friends wife's bakery. As a joke they put on 30 of the biggest freaking candles I have ever seen. The damn thing looked like a bonfire.

Today is now HungryandBrokes birthday! Happy Birthday buddy, I hope you have as much fun as I did.

Dressed in a blood stained tunic and wearing a floppy hat, Relit the Old descended from the rafters into the Great Hall of Narra. Lying among the many tables (upturned and not) were the Ravens of Valhalla, who had drunk too much and fallen asleep. The old and wise Relit had a plan: Tonight he would give each man a gift befitting who he was:

To HungryandBroke, asleep on a table like a babe.  He placed in his pocket a solid gold bar. Hungry and broke he would forever be naught.
To Turboflex, still sitting on his wooden throne but asleep. A pack of Blue Moon and some mayonnaise, things a man of his nature would keep.
To Spin, who had only just stopped his namesake. He left a top. Relit whispered in his ear, "Spin it always and you will be on top".
To Tormund, the mighty, the fearless. A teddy bear. For reasons I will give not.

Among all the men and women did the decrepit, old fool walk, leaving gifts and words. Finally, he came upon the last man. Ingleram the Elder, the Wise,. Eyes still open and staring straight ahead. Relit disturbed and afraid, placed a tiny wooden box and scampered away.

Come morning they would find all the presets left behind but Ingleram, nay he would not find a present but he would say:

"Oh look my favorite box! A glorious day it is to see it returned at last!", He would then open the box and to his dismay, find only shit in there that day.

Relit the Old, the spry and mean laughed as he watched from on high. For only he was worthy of the title the Elder and Wise and Ingleram was NOT!

Putting a computer together on Newegg/Tigerdirect.  Any reccomendations on some cheapish ram/vid cards/processers?  And 4gb ram should be enough for crpg or am I drunk?
