Title: Lowering Flags in Strategus Siege

Hey, please can you change the lowering flags button in strategus sieges from F too another button ?

It is notoriously difficult too lower flags when people are dieing on the flag, as you wind up picking up their equipment instead of lowering the flags !

I looted too many wooden swords there :D And the pile of dead people is completely bullshit at flags ...

Do it yourself. There is an option for that in-game. I do it by Enter.


Edit... Ok, now I see your point - to separate "Action" and "Flag" into separate buttons. +1 to that, although I do not know if it is possible due to the game mechanics...

if not you could have flags taller from the ground to about 3 or 4 feet into the air, so you would not accidentally pick up gear, and you could press F higher up, that's if they truly can't change the function button for flags ^^

+1, always found it very annoying. Also annoying when playing cavalry in cRPG and trying to dismount sometimes.

I also think the flags detection should be bigger, some flags on sieges just will not drop for some reason unless youre in the perfect place.

i think you dont even have to look at flag to disable it, i might be wrong though.

It's weird, sometimes you can do it standing next to it and looking at it, other times u gotta be on top and not look at it.

You cant lower/put up a flag if enemies are around it.

Spawn raping a flag automatically lowers it after a time.



Thats why its hard to lower/put up flags sometimes (if enemies respawns/wander around the flags) and why spawn raping cant go on indefinitely.



The only mystery is the "action button" radius of action and if you have to aim it somewhat... This + looting the gear on flags when you try to capture it is annoying  :P

The most effective way to lower/raise a flag is to stand on top of it an not look at it. I thought everyone had figured this out by now...

As others said, you don't have to look at the flag to disable it.

Look at the blue sky while spamming F !
