Title: Strat

At the moment Australians can only barely participate in strategus. Although we can trade and own armies we have to rely on mercs to use them.

So my idea is that the Australian Battle-DTV server can also be used for strategus when a big battle or siege is coming up. We already have a server and the LCC guys I spoke to seemed happy to oblige if it was possible... They are not however in a position to put up another server.


So can someone on the server management team speak to me or contact LCC directly I would love to get a response even if its bad news.

Would you have reasonable ping to China servers?  Perhaps you should get in bed with them about it.

Why? Is it a Chinese ISP thing? An entire Strat server for just Australian players doesn't seem worth it, no offense. What's the playerbase at now, 15 players? 20?

I and most of PK normally get around 300 ping in china and yes i believe it to be an ISP thing. The japan server was only 160 ping when it was around.

First step then Owens is to peddle copies of warband with links to crpg site on the mean streets of Australia and grow the playerbase there.

I doubt there is a system that determines whether a fief is AUS based on the faction owning it.

If they add this, your fiefs are pretty much untouchable. No one is going to want to attack a fief when their mercs are going to have 200-300 ping. Besides, do any australians own a fief? I know the godfather did, but he has since lost it.

Is there any interest in a CH version of Strat? They seem to have a relatively healthy playerbase. There's the whole translation of everything problem I guess. And the server.
