I was talking about how hard it is to get the block direction right sometimes because sometimes it doesn't recognize the mouse movement very well and it has really had an effect on how good I'm doing. Someone told you could turn on auto directional blocking but I would like to know how?
-
you cant turn it on and if you use autoblock, you will get a permaban soon or later
-
Ok thanks. I was wondering why I hadn't found out about it sooner, but now that I know you can't, then it makes sense I didn't know about it haha.

use a shield .. just like autoblock..

we both know that a shield isnt just easymode because you dont have to directional block. it has its downsides, but its indeed easier if you have no clue about directional blocking

You'll learn to manual block decently in a week or so. Just try to keep the raging at minimum :D

this, dont go in-game thinking: 'i want to win' and spam around you. Go in the game thinking 'that guy over there, i will block his first swing and than attack'

Quit melee, become an archer.

Horse archer you mean?
Because being foot archer without ability to block reliably is a pain.
Well, I could skip the blocking part... Being foot archer is a pain.
On topic - if you're bad at blocking you might wanna get some practice on duel servers (both crpg and native), it's not a thing you can be taught, but duelling with someone who doesn't want to kill you in first 2 seconds might be fruitful.
Also I'd recommend you to play siege, battle mode might be a bit frustrating to play for newbies, and you get a lot more fights on siege since you respawn like every 30 seconds

Well yeah, I played HA to get my looms to become a foot archer and practised duelling on Nditions native server.

you are lucky that you discovered manual blocking in the first days\weeks , i managed to find out this after 2 or 3 months lol.
