Title: Troop Selling: Open Bid -read "rules"!-
Post by: Lt_Anders on February 25, 2013, 12:44:06 am: Selling 800 troops at auction, with some rules.

1) You have to come pick up the troops.
2) You Bid in two ways: By PM, or By sending me a steam message. IF you wish to show your bid publicly, that Is fine, but this is a silent bid auction and you don't have to publicly post.
3) Highest Bid will be known.
4) No bitching if you lose. Everyone has equal opportunity based on how much money they got.
5) Winner will be contacted via PM(which they should know as they will have the shown Highest bid
6) Ties:(IE 2 people bid over current highest Bidder for same amount) The person with earliest Time stamp will be victor(this will cause T to show in bidding lance.

Starting Bid: 40k
Highest Bidder(In thousands): 250
Bidding will last Until Thursday 9:00 EST
Bidding increments of 5k

I don't think you understand how this works. They don't care about the troops, they just want to keep them out of their enemies hands. As such, Bale/FCC is just going to outbid everyone else, regardless of the price.

Well that's fine by me. If they pay me highest bid AND don't want the troops, then I'll do that too. I mean getting paid to stay here and do nothing is perfectly fine.

Once you win the bet, if you just wanna pay and keep the troops here and not pick 'em up, then by all means do it. As long as I get paid, I don't really care.

I'm not saying that they aren't going to pick up the troops, just that they are going to win the auction. They are playing the resource game, and have plenty of gold to throw around.

Strat, as I'm quite wealthy in crpg and don't really need it, though I guess if it's a real good crpg deal I'll take it.

So, Goretooth only attacks in Strategus, ignoring diplomacy. Your clan and allies never attack anyone, ignoring fun. I think Goretooth is playing better to be honest.

I like threads about myself. And this is really more of a test to see how much people want them. The activity of people wanting the army is rather low considering the amount of bitching I got from the last one. I could just sell them to my preferred buyer, but he's not involved in wars so i don't get XP(in the long run) out of it.

Ooooo if you did a raid I could have a set number of troops and gear then it would be risk-free. Add me on steam or something, we should do this after my next trade run so I can see how much plate I can afford. Is the xp based on armour alone? Because if that's the case I'd like gimmick battles like gothic plate and rondel daggers only. If you're down, of course.

Mmmm, depends heavily on timing.

At this time, strategus gold might even go 1:1 to c-rpg gold, or heck, even more. There is a great war going on, and armies need money.
