Title: Cheats?

I saw a chat notification that said someone enabled the name cheat.  Are cheats allowed??  If so, where do I get them so I can be on a level playing field with other "cheaters"?

It means an admin is displaying player positions on his screen. Only usable by admins. It's mean to use when spectating the game, as player team isn't visible in spectator mode making administrating hard.

Currently the message pops up all the time due to admins alt-tabbing out of the game, as the key is bound to alt by default. We just received a fix for this, should make it show up less.

Interesting, I guess that explains it.  I would hate to think that anyone in the community is cheating.  :shock:

(ironic since my account is locked and I DID NOT CHEAT)

If someone was cheating it wouldnt pop up on your screen telling you tbh. Im surprised there isnt any hacking on this game compared to other online games.

Has there ever been any people busted for cheating on crpg?

Yes, a guy who hosted one of the first servers was exploiting the mechanics and giving himself stuff.

Don't forget the sending of the text file with data around, so many people were going around with top wquipment and stats.
