Got a loomed Great Axe, a mediocre grip on manual blocking and a serious thirst for violence. If anyone would have in their hearts to hang out with me on the Duel server and show me some moves (footwork, tricks, tips, whatever), I would really appreciate it. I think I've taken myself as far as I can go with 0 instruction... and while raw time and experience will surely build my skill, if anyone can give me a leg up I'll be squarely in their debt. Frankly, I am tired of sucking. Call me a baby for wanting more instant gratification - I'm honestly not used to being picked last, and... me no like how it feels . So that's where you come in, if you're down.
PM me!
Oh, and PS - I believe in helping people, so if and when I cease to suck, I fully intend to pass the favor along to another noob.

Good luck, i'm assuming you're EU since I never see you.....on siege.

If you want to fast-track your manual blocking skills, make a Skip (to) the Fun longspearman (balanced build, ex 18/21), or level one yourself.
The longspear forces you to focus on blocking when someone attacks you.
I ran two generations of longspear at gen 9-10, improved my blocking more than the previous 8 generations ever had.
As for learning the footwork, attack, and defense of 2H, I'll point you to this wonderful thread (http://forum.meleegaming.com/general-discussion/how-do-people-play-this-mod/). It has videos of a ton of players just playing their classes. Watch the 2Hs, keep an eye on how they move, swing, feint, position themselves.
Always remember: Look for your own fighting style. Find out what works, and adapt it to your natural movements (both on keyboard/mouse, and in-game).

Between frequent stays at the hospital, and a recent focus on strat, I'm not on siege much, no. But I am NA. I typically like siege more than battle, since I get more play-time (and thus more practice) but it's often empty...

DAMN why do I never see a naked guy on siege then! I find a good way too practice is to make a STF that uses a one hander who's build is 18/18. With this build you'll be in long fights so blocking would be key.
EDIT : I have seemed to overlooked the 2h part of your topic.

Alright dude, I'll be on siege later tonight. You can watch me flounder. BEHOLD!
Consequently I'm still looking for a mentor. I'm like Bruce Wayne in that Mongolian prison, waiting for Ra's Al Ghoul to swoop in and turn me into his star pupil.
Where are you Ra's?!

all the good 2hers are EU!
on a more serious note what kind of tricks are you talking about?
the rule I live by, if it matters but i'mma tell you anyways(!), is always move forward - attack! attack! attack! dont backpedal like a my old friend.

I'd be willing to help out a bit, I suppose. The vast majority of my 15 gens have been dedicated two-handed so I've learned a few tricks I'd be willing to pass on.
Here, you can add me on Steam if you want: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198010107047/
