Title: New to strategus

Hey guys, I returned to cRPG after about two years. Now I would like to try a strategus as a merc (only battles - not stuff on the map). What am I supposed to do? Does it take just to request to join a battle in my option on c-rpg.net? And if I get accepted I just connect in the right time to the exact server? Well that's atleast how I understand that.

Also, when you are then accepted, you join the server (EU_3 or NA_3) at the time displayed and will be automatically put into the correct team.

...and be at the roll calls. Basicly the most important thing to do after applying.

Most big battles need you to be 30 min before battle start at their Teamspeak to ensure that you're really there and not just applied for the lulz. They call your name and check if you're ready to fight.

As he said, read the information from your team roster. Join teamspeak, or ventrio, or whatever. If you are there for roll call The faction will most likely keep you for the battle.
Below level 25, most clans'= won't hire you.
Big strategus battles provide amazing experience but no gold. The army's weapons might let you try different fighting style. It is a nice variation from playing on the battle ans siege servers all day.
