Did some calculations, did 'em for unloomed items, did them for 10 and 6 pt/pd, and 100 effective wpf.
Longbow, 6pd, 57,04.
Longbow, 10pd, 74,4.
Jarids, 6pt, 64. 6,96 more than the longbows.
Jarids, 10pt, 80. 5,6 more than the longbows.
Spears, 6pt, 57,6. 0,2 more than the longbows.
Spears, 10pt, 72. 2,4 less than the longbows.
Javelins, 6pt, 52,8. 4,24 less than the longbows.
Javelins, 10pt, 66, 8,4.
Don't care whether the pd is reduced to 10% or the pt buffed to 14% or maybe them both becoming 12%, but I do not believe the system is currently fair.

Decimals are represented by a . which is why it is called a decimal point. :P

This is obvious discrimination of PS. make it equal as well. :-P

Eh, the decimal key on my keyboard makes a , instead of ., didn't really notice 'till now due to lack of giving a fuck.

guess your bad at math and even worse at game design.
throwers & archers actually need WPF in their skills, unlike melee's that can get up to 15 PS and not have to worry about putting points into Weapon master.

You left out speed rating. Throwing can launch faster than bows.
You also left out speed bonus. Throwing is slower, and so gets a greater speed bonus against charging opponents or downhill.

And you left out the ammo count, the accuracy, and that throwing has way more curved flights which lead to more ghost projectiles, it being harder to aim with over long distances, and it being way easier to dodge.

Guess you're bad at writing English and even worse at comprehending English.
They need wpf? Really? You sure? 'cause I've played a ht for the vast majority of my playtime and I never got pink text while not having any wpf, totally.

Archer gear has more weight while less slots for other weapons available. You also forgot that.

another archernerf thread in disguise?

Throwers however got more weight per projectile, and while indeed a thrower can take one slot of throwing and then the rest being used for other shit then archers at minimum need 2 slots to function properly, if you bitch about the arrow count with 15 bodkins then throwers would have less, and with one slot of throwing weaponry you have a very small amount of projectiles, which means it's not whatsoever worthwhile if you only fill one slot.

Yes, you saw through the grand disguise of this:
"Don't care whether the pd is reduced to 10% or the pt buffed to 14% or maybe them both becoming 12%, but I do not believe the system is currently fair.", can't believe you noticed i'm asking for archers to be nerfed or throwers to be buffed, you truly are great at reading between the lines.

This is an english-centric uninformed opinion :P
Although of course the . is the standard in international communication.
Also and just to seem to look like I'm bringing something to this discussion, throwers get no meaningful benefit out of wpf above their PT penalty.

Throwing is also vastly more accurate while on the move and while jumping (still on NA).
