Title: Why is it always night time when I play?

I've tried playing at different times of the day and night, and on different servers. No matter what it's always night time in the game. Is this normal?

Currently(since the hotfix) day/night transitions are disabled and it's locked at 18 o' clock.

There are at least 2 enemies on the screen ~5 seconds away from me. Took this yesterday on a new map. This was in the slightly brighter part of the map. o_O
I switched to DX9 where the darkness is a little less extreme, but night time still makes my eyeballs strain to the point of me not wanting to put effort into anything. A change would be lovely and most appreciated. :)

It's because cmp hates every single one of you. I give him and chadz an ultimatum of 3 hours to fix this or they'll get a sequel.

Try toggling HDR and the lighting settings. I know mine is really dark with HDR either on or off, I don't remember which, though. Try changing it from what its at to the other and see if that helps.
I use DX9

You can just turn off the shadows if they are bothering you.

same here, I hate night so much that sometimes I just give up playing. And how awesome it is when u play when its night in game and outside the sun burst with shine straight on ur monitor. Just blindness and rage quit.

I have to agree all night does i make my eyes hurt :(
also in the forum overview this thread was called "Why is it always nig..." and i thought i might have to report it :mrgreen:

Nerf the nightime to 10% of the games played and it'll be a little more accurate and way more enjoyable for everyone.
