Title: Ping problems - donations for new cRPG servers
Post by: Angantyr on February 14, 2013, 09:08:00 pm: Deeming by numerous threads on the forums (for example here (http://forum.meleegaming.com/crpg-technical-problems/ultimate-ping-thread-post-here-if-you-have-conectivity-issues/) and here (http://forum.meleegaming.com/general-discussion/ping-problems-45448/)) and comments in-game a whole lot of players in our community are having serious ping problems seemingly unconnected to their internet service provider - could this be due to the cRPG servers not being able to handle the workload as of late?

If so, could the developers please comment on it, I think I'm far from the only one who would happily donate money specifically for optimized servers as currently it's as good as impossible to play our favourite game for many hours a day (mostly during prime time).

Nope.
There are routing/throttling issues with the server hoster, we're working to resolve them.

I still miss Nordmen, its stupid that their server is just setting around; broken, so noone can use it :(

nordmen server was awesome. they had a pretty good map rotation and they allowed NO HX, HA !

The problem is that we need someone who can manage the server when it needs to be updated, and map rotations, restarts, and so on.Those of us who can don't have the time to manage it, and the rest doesn't know how to :P

If anyone want to volunteer feel free to send me a PM, we'd be happy to have it running again.
