Title: Please suggest a weapon you want made for cRPG.

PK_Ant  Is fairly good with blender and gimp and would like to make a weapon for cRPG.


I was thinking that it should be something that is missing from current cRPG weapon options.

*2H warhammer

*An arabic polearm

*90+ reach pierce or blunt 1H (low damage)

*1H broadsword

*2H ~ 110 reach sword with a good stab

*2H ~ 90 reach high damage sword ~96 speed with stab

^That sword is either terrible or great a cant really tell tbh.


Compared to two handed sword it is great.
Compared to HBS or longsword its about the same, a long katana.


The stats are irrelevant but making a sword only 2 reach less than an existing one is a little foolish.

Yeah its probably silly :)  Just my own personal desire to have something between the longsword and two handed sword.

2 handed throwing axe.
Melee stats close to the fighting axe's 2h mode stats, but the throwable damage ~35c. 1 or two ammo per stack.

This. This would be so solid. But, why damage so low? Heavy throwing axe is 45 or something thereabouts. A 1-ammo-per-stack 2-handed throwing axe should be up there.

A two slot, one-handed sword that is not usable with a shield, perhaps with a secondary two-handed mode. Damage and speed comparable to a short two-handed weapon.

Indeed. 1h animations are better than 2h(aside from the thrust, obviously), it's just that, even if you compare weapons of the same speed, they always have a damage/length disparity.

FYI: The current scythe is the same as that, with its blade bent to be more feasible for combat.

Was used like that by peasants in revolutions throughout history.

A Pilum would be cool Although I have only read about them being used by the Romans which leads me to think they somehow lost there effectiveness as the development of steel came. Could be 1 ammo but with a x3-4 bonus to shields to simulate how useless they made shields when stuck in.

Caltrops but make them 2-3 slots so the battle severs don't become a mine field.

Probably not possible but a sort of sword breaker or parring dagger, and some how made it so you had to use directional blocks. So one one handed swords could retain there speed without spending a dual being stunned by weapons 2-3 times there weight.

And a Jian although it would probable end up having the same stats as the Espada Eslavon

It looks like you don't understand the point that I thought I was obviously making. I do not want a scythe that has been modified for combat. I want a REAL scythe. Like in that picture. Exactly. No difference.

your scythe would work very bad in the fields, its just a straight stick with a blade on it.  :mrgreen:

Bearded axe looks very cool indeed, as well as the katar.

Rapier has been discussed some times but doesnt fit the time period afaik. However the sidesword we already have comes pretty close to your images imo.

1h Morningstar (just scale down 2h morningstar model would be fine), think flanged mace size.

Thicker/longer/slower curved 1h sword (like halfway between Dadao and Nuiweaboo size-wise). Military Cleaver-like stats, but that doesn't look like a piece of scrap metal.

I have decided to have a chinese war sword made.

Its really just some fun and to prove the PK_ant is good at his shit. Chances of it being added are slim but depending on its length it could be made into a military cleaver model replacement for the Chinese players.

Ji Halberd (the dagger-axe or the single sided crescent are pretty cool) and Jian (Chinese sword, straight not curved like the Dao) would be pretty nice weapons for the incomplete China set. :P
A chu-ko-nu would be great too, but it'd need new animations so you can forget that

The Dagger-Axe Ji looks like some sort of prostate tickler. May as well add some beads while you're at it.

Secondly, the Gladius, Khopesh and Aztec shit doesn't really fit the time-frame of other items. And I really don't think Owens would support the idea and I think he'd describe it as "choad"

I dunno, the Aztecs were there from the 1200s when they first migrated to Aztlan in Mexico, to the 1500s when Spain attacked, so I'd say it fits quite well
