Pretty simple suggestion: Add some sort of "target range" for archers with the targets at varying distances on the duel servers.
-
and maybe add a way for them to be able to know what they hit without having to go all the way back.

Real archers know :P

I completely, 100% agree with this idea. And I can't say that about very many things!

I don't wanna be like that but all you need to do is look at something and shoot it then shoot different things from far away. If you wanna know if you hit all you need to do is run up there and look while you collect your arrows. =)

Well guys...

I like to shoot at trees, but would like a more accurate frame of reference that tells you more about accuracy (can't really tell where you were aiming when you hit a tree and walk up to it, vs a target with a center), distance, and speed.

The game already has points/yards system for archery practice targets. It shouldn't be hard to implement it at all. It's probably a copy-paste job for someone who invented levelling system for multiplayer, strategus battles, construction equipment, catapult usage and such.
