Good gentles of Calradia. In general, I tend to stay out of public discussions on Strategus diplomacy because I'm a little known bureaucrat who doesn't really do anything besides nod politely at my colleagues and stamp papers. However, I feel that duty and honor require me to reveal an unlikely alliance- one that threatens the status quo of all who live in the north.

 To my colleagues: I am sorry to do this to you all, but we all know that 'following orders' isn't an excuse to allow the advent of new atrocities.

To the world: do the right thing with this information. End the era of oppression in it's inception.

Just because two leaders of factions are talking doesn't mean they are in league together...it makes sense for faction leaders (or diplomats) to discuss scenarios and options...it's called "diplomacy" and most good factions will try to employ it.

Isn't Arrowaine's in game character also a female?  Not sure how calradian law handles lesbian relationships.

I'm pretty sure it's completely acceptable.  I think (at least in some mods, maybe not native) that you can marry females as a female character. But as a man you can't marry another man (which is the way it should be)  :wink:

And Kesh I put a wink after my last post...I think any adult should be able to marry any other adult that they choose...I even volunteered for Minnesota's Vote No to help keep bigotry off of our states' constitution.

I have to agree with Hobb here. As long as it doesn't break the rules and there is actual content present, what's the problem if a diplomacy post is not serious business italicized "by the power of greyskull, we are trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored" style nerd tripe? Last I checked, this was cRPG and not Persistent World, Napoleonic Wars, or some other terrible mod filled with RPers and their ilk.

Add to this the fact that a.) a new thread on the same topic will be made as soon as either side wants to gloat or put a positive spin on one of its losses and b.) this is probably the most relevant/important news on NA in at least a month, and I really can't say that I follow your reasoning in moving the thread to spam without any warning.
