Title: Archery.

I think its time we reduce the dmg by 50% on all bows.

Archers should not be able to penetrate any armor above 40.

Also the draw time should be increased by 120% this would make archers have to stand still for longer so i can catch up to them.

An last but not least lets increase the upkeep on all bows. if you want to be an archer you should have to pay extra.

An the arrow flight speed should be decreased you should have to aim for the sun if your targets are more then 5 feet away.

The only problem with archery in cRPG is how it is  played by most of the people, not really a matter of their builds, damage they do etc. Even another 20 nerfs won't change it. In larger numbers of range units on one side it's nearly gamebraking for most of the poor folks, but that also applies to any other classes.

Still they can always pick ammo from ground :?
Less ammo less junk lying around  :D

Ranged seems to stagger people more than anything else in the game. Feels like it even got worse recently. Even a really low damage ranged hit can get you killed. Make it so it doesn't screw you up so much when hit in melee, or when ranged are kiting

Headshots are random as hell and yet 1 hit kill

Xbows have no build requirements and are the worst implemented weapons in the game. They can even penetrate shields and do damage unless you spec way into shield skill, and then the weight from the shield makes it so you might as well play a pure shielder class

No incentive to put wpf high into melee when you can hybrid into xbows or throwing (with very minor build tweak)

Devs like ranged too much to change it though :D

Well damn me, of course. I'm not whining about melee builds am I. I'm pissed when cav swarms me and kills me when I spawn at 6:30. I dont like it when some guy 1hits me or another one spams me with a katana agi build. But I dont QQ putting up nerf requests all the time. I do understand that someone made other choices than me when building up his character. Go to EU3 if you only wanna duel.
Ranged is part of the game and I think with the recent weight increases you can catch up pretty good with ranged in general unless you wear heavy armor.
And nobody forces anybody to charge a bunch of ranged without cover. But still people do it and then complain.

Even my basement daughter complains less than melee players in this game.

Seems quite logical, considering that arrow weighs a lot now and flies a lot faster  :P

By the way, since arrow weight is increased greatly, why not give it secondary melee mode?
