I just like the fact that the fat man once managed to beat the system and not just those bodybuilder types

In a year, sharing sites, forums and blogs will be swarmed with mega links of everything.

Piracy, stronger than ever before :D

Edit: It's down already wtf

Edit2: No it's not. It just isn't very reliable at this point it seems.

In case you haven't noticed, this is already better than Microsoft Skydrive, Google Drive and Dropbox combined when it comes to storage capacity for free users. Whooping 50GB, that's awesome. And it's easy to use.

Wow.

Btw it's at the same time a "clever" (because hosts cannot be punished for hosting things they don't know) and a very natural move. Privacy is something everybody values, not just 'dem pirates. I see this as the upper side of the iceberg that will severely damage information sellers like facebook in a not so distant future. There's nothing preventing a facebook-like site encrypting all data in similar fashion to emerge. Also 50Gb isn't that enormous given the current hard disk technology and the ability to compress data when you reach such high volumes.

Yea, I was really surprised too.

And 50GB is quite a lot for a webspace considering the overall rather slow upstreams world wide and let's not forget that it's free space.

I won't register any time soon tho. First of all, I don't trust Kim "Dotcom" Schmitz. And I have 25GB dropbox-space I don't pay for, which came with my mobile phone oddly enough, and up until now I use around 15Mb of it :P I am good on that account...
