Title: cRPG EU at night

Is awful.

I don't really sleep that much and kinda stay late and like to play some cRPG. But the problem is that numbers of players dwindle and those who stay playing are nothing but trolls, like those folks you can see on EU4 during the days. They ruin my fun.

Can someone explain to me that phenomena, why people don't play the same during the night? What's different, are they drunk, high or something else?

Is this the case for NA servers at late hours as well?

What's your opinion, folks. Like it, hate it?

Drunk on sleepyness, atleast thats what happens to me, makes me laugh easily and I feel like not playing seriously just mess around.

Just to clarify some things. I like to talk a lot of shit, to troll verbally in every possible way but when it comes to gameplay I always try to give my best and never fuck around (even in light armor, only time when I'm afk is when I really need to go somwhere and forget to go spec mode), teamkill, avoid teammates (in extremely rare occasions maybe) and so on.

I have serious issue with people who play like that. For them is fun, for me is a plague. I'm aware this topic will grant me a lot of infamy because it seems people prefer jerking around rather than playing but this is very important to me. This is the reason why I don't want ever to be an admin, if I was this rather small community would suffer greatly.

Some people don't like me, often insult me (sometimes for no reason) but I still have respect for them. And that's because they play the game like ti should be played (from that group of people most notable being Oberyn, Teeth and Ujin).

When there are too few players the game doesn't function properly anyway. Either there will be people getting shot left right and centre or a couple of random fights and then the round is over. I can get why people would try to make it more fun under those circumstances since the whole tactical side of the game is gone, but I don't agree with totally messing around.

People know there is probably no admin, and they don't really think of it as being a proper game with so few players

Well, I guess I should stop playing at night then. Too bad this game isn't more popular. Higher population at night wouldn't hurt imo.

I find it more fun to play when there are less players on. Yes, there are troll builds, and trolls, but it is one of the few periods of the day when battles are not decided by what team has the bigger big angry mob, and has different play style.

The only thing I do not really like is that siege with low population is almost unplayable, and that causes EU 2 to empty.

(btw, please bring admins to siege)

Well early mornings seem to be somewhat underpopulated as well... Eu_1 and zero players atm :(.

Smaller battles are fun for agiwhores like me until there is not too many cav or ranged specially in one team.

It never gets old, people who think it is superfun to block the entire ally teams crossing over a river/ledge and kick them down.
Or punch crossbowers when they reload, stand infront of archers trying to work.
Spawn naked with a practice dagger, and argue that they are techically not leeching.
Faking afk, only to punish ppl who QML them..
Hide in a barn or hay , playing hide and seek forever,neverending duels,runners and fistfights.
Or the worst kind , delayers that "milk" multis..
when the server is semifull, alot of this stupid behavior has little influence on the battle. But with few players on it becomes really annoying.

I dont even see the funvalue for the trolls. It has been done a million times. Noone is entertained.
If you are going to troll, atleast be original. Play the game to have fun, not to earn viritual gold and xp.
Is it not the most satiesfying to win the round?

I image most of them are idiotkids,up past their bedtime.
Real newbies I dont mind doing silly things, got to give them some room to grow and learn.
So there is nothing else to do than either log off or have some patience.

CRPG should appoint some deputies, with only kickingpower. Less paperwork and of little consequence if used abit harshly.
They can just reenter again, with only a bruised ego and reset multi.
People who would abuse the kickprivilege would be found out rather quickly.

I keep ungodly hours, so most of the time I end up playing at around 4 AM.

On rare occasions you end up with 2-3 HX in a ten man server, which isn't very fun. Other than that, it's usually pretty good. I enjoy small servers.

Lesshmaaaa, we are human, we are different, u cant make all people do the same, there is always different ways and methods to do stop....and to play stuff. But we all have 1 thing incommon, to have fun.

Back when CRPG was moar populated and less nerfed and slightly funnier, i used to make siege towers and all that lolzy stuff during nighttime. In the end nighttime was/is just mindless grinding for me anyhow.

That's why you play NA serv where you can type things like ''I BELIEVE IN OBAMACARE and ''OBAMA IS THE SAVIOR OF USA'' to get things going and to make you less sleepy.

Never used to be that way if that's true Leshma. About 1 1/2 years ago I used to play 12-5 most nights and it was always great fun. Obviously a smaller number of people but it meant that skill levels really mattered. Also oddly the times I played best with my HA and got my highest score like the time me and Toc killed over 10 people between us as the last 2 on our team on one round.

Sad to see it's going the way of EU4 at that time if that's the case.

Yeah, though EU_4 has become a bit too populated these days, there's often 30+ players on :(

Also @ Leshma: There is nothing wrong with troll builds. Dont complain about them being on your team; because there is probably a few on the enemy team as well.
And what goes for peopel with troll builds who prolonge and shit: You can always just poll kick them.

Why is everyone hating on EU4? at-least there you wont get shot to death within the first minute of the game! I prefer small battle servers some interesting duels if its 1v1 at the end plus if you die early unless it ends up 1v1 it can go pretty quick so no waiting 3 minutes for the kiting archer/HX(As to) for them to waste all that time only to realise that they don't have enough arrows to kill everyone and they suck in melee.

Back on topic, I find that its mostly SoA who do nothing but do that crap it's really annoying when you just want to chill and not worry about playing serious and then you get them just doing annoying shit and dragging ever single round out to the last second because their idea of fun is running around doing nothing or just sitting at spawn. I understand they do it early hours so there is less people (and no one who can be bothered to post ban request's except PEPE) but it is incredibly annoying when they do it every round for every map, I don't think people would mind as much if it was only once every few maps but every round for every map? No that shit is just annoying.

so leshma decided he didn't like small servers and wanted to get it removed? I don't like EU1 lets remove it only my old friendchers, noobcav and 2hkuyakheros play there lets force them all onto siege for no apparent reason!!
