Title: Reward for getting Valour if you already have a x5?

Would it be a good a idea to reward players with a single free tick after the round?

Indeed it would :) could also be cool for people to achieve valour ticks multiple times should they perform well enough.

It's not funny although me and Nikodin got valour 3 times in a row once for 1 map :D

I can regularly get valour as an archer, just target horses and heavy infantry to farm points.

I've never been an archer myself, but as a crossbowman I can rack up a considerable amount of points by targeting horses and non-shield carrying personnel. Not always enough for valor though of course.

As a supporter of the idea of an extra reward for performing even after having achieved x5, I think only having the option of retaining a high multiplier after facing a loss (though is a great incentive to fight hard to retain in my opinion) may be lack luster to some. In light of the subject, ideas of options such as the availability of an extra "hard set" amount of gold or experience and perhaps even both makes for a delightful reason for all to achieve much higher than say "x5 and done".

My reward option would be perhaps, in the idea of role play, a message come across "[playername!] Thine repairs hath payed forth for your continuance of Glory upon the field of battle!". Maybe even introducing a game system for post x5 called Glory (name subject to change in accordance)

Also does anyone know if there is any benefit for players that get valour if they already have a x5 multipier?

If they are in the losing team, they keep the x5, which is no small thing, and if they are in the winning team, an extra tick could be nice.

Valor is already a bad feature as the point system doesn't quite reward people fairly and encourages not engaging in fights with people who might beat you.

Remove valor altogether, or at least don't buff cowardly play even further.

No , archery is forgotten , as always , you can shoot everyone , you just be fucked by this valour system, even if you fight at melee

I think valor should only be given to players on the losing team personally.  The winning team is already getting an award for, you know, winning.

Other then that, I think valor should stay the way it is + The thing I mentioned above.

When I first read your post I read "tick" as "ticket", which I thought would be as an extra strategus ticket. Which I think would be good if you get rewarded with 1 extra strategus ticket if you achieve x5 with valor.

I don't think this is necessary at all, and if you think about, giving one extra x5 tick is a pretty big reward. Gaining +1 multi usually only amounts to giving you about 3 to 4k additional xpwhen assuming the standard 1000 base xp rate, as the round on average only lasts 3 or 4 minutes. So getting 5k additional xp is quite a lot.

With the new 0.3.3.4 patch and threshold for achieving valour raised, I even more than ever feel some compensation is warranted for trying hard the effort.
