For all you fallout lovers out there here is a real treat i found the other day. Ever dreamt of an MMO in classical fallout 1 or 2 fashion? I did, i saw this http://fonline2238.blogspot.com/ and i jizzed in my pants.
This is legit, remains true to the fallout 1/2 spirit while delivering a brutal survival/pvp sandbox experience. If you still have your dusty CD with Fallout 2 somewhere give it a spin and try this out.
Also i recommend this client http://fonline2238.net/forum/index.php/topic,22146.0.html for a quick and easy install

Tried it a year ago and i found it confusing and, well, booring.. may need someone to play it with for it to be fun. I didnt really get into it very much either though.

How does it work exactly? Gameplay wise...?

Well, its confusing at first. You create a char in the typical fallout 2 fashion and you are thrown into the wasteland with almost nothing and no guide or quests telling you what to do. (much like Dayz)
You lvlup and get gear the usual way, do quests, kill random encounters, buy gear or loot it from players. You can basicaly do whatever you want. Kill, trade, rob (you can use steal on players), get a car, join a gang, get a gang hideout, do gang wars etc. There are typical cities you might recognize from the game where the players go to trade/pvp (NCR, Necropolis, Vault city, New reno etc.)
