I'll reserve the this post to clarify updated patch balancing information as it comes out. As of now, repair costs are inflated and there are a few bugs amongst the item stat changes. Everyone calm down, it'll all be fixed in a little while as feedback comes in. Right now it's safe to assume that everything is a little bit different, even if it doesn't appear so, and that we should only post suggestions or observations about balance if they seem particularly out of sorts:
1. I noticed that my Mighty Warhammer (3 times heirloomed) deals just two more pierce damage (stab) and three more blunt damage (swing) than an unmodified warhammer. This seems unbalanced when considered with its generally nerfed speed (-2 points) and that the speed does not increase even when heirloomed three times. It should be noted, too, that the cost has also increased significantly (2000ish more) while almost every other stat has been nerfed.
2. Amongst 1-handers a couple stats are definitely unbalanced amongst themselves. For example, the nominally top two one-handed weapons:
Nordic Champion's Sword
difficulty: 13
speed rating: 97
thrust damage: 21 pierce
swing damage: 32 cut
weapon length: 102
10,195
Long Espada Eslavona
difficulty: 12
speed rating: 99 (+2)
thrust damage: 28 pierce (+7)
swing damage: 27 cut (-5)
weapon length: 103 (+1)
10,434 (+240)
It seems this has been partially balanced out. The price of the Nordic is now 1000 gold less and the Espada, it seems, is just unavailable. More information will be posted as it comes in.
3. The 1-handed "spiked clubs" should have near-opposite prices. The light club is 1/3 the cost for slightly less damage but greater reach and speed.
More are pending discussion and I'll post more as I see them (or if they're PMd to me specifically).

Looks like the Nordic specializes in cut damage while the long espada specializes in thrust damage. It would appear that you're comparing two completely different weapons.
-
Well the Long Espada doesn't actually exist. You can't buy it and people who had it before can't use it as it's not in the inventory.

difficulty: 15
speed rating: 92

swing damage: 40 cut
weapon length: 124
Can't use on horseback
Secondary Mode
They are nearly identical in price 15,192 for german and 15,922 for danish. As you can see, the danish has 2 more slash, 1 more reach, but only 1 less stab. They used to be pretty even, with german being the overall more balanced and danish the powercutter. now danish is clearly the better.
To fix I would suggest boosting the germans stab by ~2 and possibly the slash by 1.

Nope, nothing wrong with the danish/german, it is balaced

I could paste more but I know that if anyone actually wants to see this in a non-biased perspective, they will realize that more isn't necessary to get the point across. Remember with this new patch, thrusts are the same length, point for point for both Two-Handers and Polearms. Why should a One-handed sword be thrusted for the same or more damage than a Two-Handed weapon? lolstab wasn't nerfed, Two-Handed thrust damage was nerfed. Pole thrusts have only been buffed with this patch.

Because by the time a one hander gets close enough to stab you, you could have stabbed them already.
-
'd say the lance speed is currently rediculous

Looks like the Nordic specializes in cut damage while the long espada specializes in thrust damage. It would appear that you're comparing two completely different weapons.
This is unfair. They're both 1h cutting swords of the same price and general reach. The differences between the weapon are cumulatively immense, and the difference in damage are exceptionally extreme. When fighting an armoured opponent, the Nordic does an average of four points more cut damage than the Espada. However, the Espada deals a whopping 7.5 points more pierce damage against the same target. That, coupled with its longer reach, significantly faster speed, and lower difficulty makes it clear which is the more effective sword.

Fix'd
Tydeus, poleaxe has like -20 effective length as compared to two-handed swords due to different slashing animations.
-
Poleaxe's -20 effective stab length doesn't include the twohanded stab animation bonus. Feel free to test stab reach of swiss halberd (160) vs german greatsword (123), you'll be amazed.

Pole thrusts have only been buffed with this patch.
Minus the almost across the board speed nerf on polearms.
