I'm pretty sure everyone is aware of the FCC and Hero Party fiasco with everyone bitching at each other, and over the course of this night, I had an epiphany, why don't we all mature up and shut our mouths unless it's about 'last night's battle', or some funny event like in Strategus 3 when the catapult killed over 10 people in the siege tower.  Not this bogus bullshit where we make people feel bad in their own personal lives.  Having C-rpg get to you is like letting a fish give you a hand job.  It shouldn't be possible nor should it be seen as a healthy life style.  I for one shouldn't be talking, but at least someone is taking the time to say this.  Let this shit play out.  Don't try to damage people outside of C-rpg it really just makes you look like an ass.  (I for one know my own actions). 

Just thought I'd say that... yah so... cool... leave the thoughts below :D

Yeah, Strat 4 got a little too intense this time around. Everyone should just go to FCC teamspeak and we can all laugh about Strat 2 and the story of Ecko, told by the famous Epoch.

Silly haboe, NA has always had its care bear blocks, it's just not always the same factions in them.

Anyways, on topic, there's no stopping the drama when u have a try hard like Kesh and a new jersite, ball busting, troll like Smoothrich. Unfortunately ppl find forum drama entertaining (I do too as long as its not about anything I care about)

Yeah, here is the thing, while it might be nice to say that and pay a lip service, it will never happen. I have been playing since Strat 2 and the community has always been like this when it comes to strat. See, when you have a community that is small and filled with awful and spergy nerds, something like Strat just increases it ten fold. There has yet to be a strat where people haven't exploited, abused game mechanics, or even hacked to try to win at internet horsies so it should come as no surprise that being goods sports is about as likely happening as me growing wings and flying. It is a sad truth.

Kesh is mad i'll take him with my Sith Juggernaut vs his low lvl Jedi Sentinel or whatever.


Also when you're in one of the best strat factions you're bound to get hate. Hero Party is the best!

I have to disagree, We have a lot of "good sports" on Crpg. The problem is the few bad sports we do have are so damn loud and annoying, and try to be in everyone's face with their opinions!  :mrgreen:

Also, here's the fucking deal, I'll finally say this and maybe spoil the wast majority of drama which is sad, but fuck it.

Smoothrich is a troll, he spouts random shit to grief and cause drama, Shik is a troll, he occasionally spouts random shit to grief and cause drama, both those people are creators of fun.
Then we have lljk, berenger, some of fcc, and bird, they're also trolls spouting random shit. Finally we have some fcc members, lordark, a few hospitallers, and a shitload of randomers, and all hero parties ex ats, they're the ones who make the spouting of random shit funny by being serious regarding it or just being retarded in general,  basically people like the OP are the real causes of drama because they're the only ones who actually give a fuck.

Also, Aztek, we don't have a lot of good sports in c-rpg, there's a reason you're the only hospitaller that don't put the rest in a negative light when posting.
EDIT: BADPLAYER IS A REASONABLE AND LOVABLE PERSON, HE NEVER TROLLS, HE'S ALWAYS SERIOUS, AND HE BELIEVES CAV SHOULD BE BUFFED.

Good diplo threads should be filled with flowery prose and outrageous claims, but I've noticed less and less of this lately from both sides.  I have reviewed my previous OPs in the forum and declare them perfect.  If everyone were to emulate me we would have less of this nasty business.

For the record all Hospitaller have been asked to stay off the Diplomacy forums aside from Peppo and our diplomats and ambassador (Myself). When ever you see one of our guys on here you can be sure Peppo is yelling at them soon after for it and are given warnings, If they don't stay off they are asked (Nice way of being told) to leave the faction.

But back to our "Evil" community, I know these forums can get heated, and its hard to ignore the garbage that is constantly spit out on here, but you do have to admit most of these individuals are on a side, and they try and stick up for that side/their friends even though in bad taste most of the time, and camaraderie is nice to see, minus the bad taste using certain words that is. But I have seen clans that we are at war with on strat act and talk like good buddies on NA1, and to me that's the true sign of good sports. If a FCC member on my team comes up to me and slashes me on the head, or teamhits me with our acting like it was an accident, that is a poor sport, but if that same individual try's to block an attack on me while I was bumped down to save me, knowing who I am (being a member he is fighting with on strat) then that's a great team player and over all decent person, and honestly I see more of that than I do all the hate that people assume Crpg is filled with.

We do have bad apples and its a shame that 1 bad player can makes a group look bad, but the facts are that is a low percentage compared to the decent players out there, and to say otherwise is disrespectful to them, of course they most likely don't have a problem with that as they stay away from these pointless forums, or they just stay quiet as they know it does no good to add to the flame wars (they are smarter than the rest of us!).

+1 to those of you who don't bother adding to the none sense, and help others when you can regardless of a banner!  :P

History lesson, dudes. Strategus 1, I believe, was mostly fought on Teamspeak. Strategus 2 was fought more over the forums than on the map, and there were 3AM battles that people attended almost every day. Flame wars were a lot worse then. Anyhoo, it's ugly, but it's part of the game. Ultimately, Strategus is a propaganda game, after all.

I'm not defending my clan or anything, mind you. I'm not involved in that stuff at the moment. Just telling y'all what motivates the flaming (some are obviously better at it than others; we as a community like to laugh at the train wrecks among us) that seems like negativity. To give you an example, FCC and the Mercs exchanged thousands of unpleasant words and pictures that were far more invasive and distasteful. It seemed like we truly hated each other, because, despite what anyone might say, everyone who plays Strategus and owns land in it for more than a month or two takes the game very seriously.

Next Strat, guess who worked together? Yeah. Families get ugly, y'all. The cRPG community is no different.
