You've obviously never played a thrower. It's a support class. If you hit someone with a +3 jarid it's a little more than trolling.

I support all naked builds, if wielded with appropriate flair. But yeah, couldn't you throw a little prof into poles to get your stab on with your last jarid?

EDIT: the thread No_Rules linked shows a "hybrid" thrower build with these stats:

Power Throw: 7
Weapon Master: 5

One Handed: 89
Throwing: 130

With your higher WM you could do like throwing 145, one handed 83 - just about the same as those "hybrid" builds but without the burden of shields or armor.

I would put some 1 handed or polearm in there, that way you can switch to melee when they get close then just slash them a couple times and run away and repeat.

They never expect it.....

I love watching some of the better throwers on NA play. Chucky specifically.

They're always near-naked, and they seem to have more agility. If I had to guess the mirror of that build 18-24, max Athletics.

If you watch Chucky he'll often let others get fairly close to him before tossing his axe into their skull and if they're still alive, he's quick enough to easily book it and get better positioned or run off to look for more ammo.

For this build to be considered the "Ultimate Noob Throwing Build" I would suggest more athletics for kiting and looking for ammo, alongside a near naked or stylized bit of armor. Noobs won't have melee abilities to bother with having WPF in Pole/1h, but yes, some would be nice.

Noobs also won't have a bunch of +3 Jarids, I'd wager. In the time it would take you to retire all those times and get those loom points, you aught to shed your noobdom.

Once I drop my finished Naked Mesh replacer, there will be no need for armor ever again!! muuhaha!

Sorry Isatis but you really couldn't be more wrong, each point in pt increases damage by 10%, so if you had 10pt with throwing lances then you should in theory deal 100%+ damage.

stones suck bro. if you want to be successful at throwing you need be able to do serious damage with each hit, especially considering how inaccurate/random throwing is. make people respect you and keep their distance. make them think twice about hard charging directly at you. if they see you throwing stones they will laugh and keep coming. also like the other guy said above you need to have speed. go to NA and watch Chucky a pure "pro" thrower.

also my last build had 5 power throw and I used regular jarids. some guys would take 3-5 jarids to kill. just imagine rocks man lol take fkin 15 rocks! with not much athletics you will be dead long before that.

inaccurate? You are aware that throwing isnt a long ranged weapon like the rus bow?

I know, but I remember reading about how pt bonus disappear after some point (like PD but only with high pierce thing) but maybe I have been fooled!!!!

Also Zapper, nah it work perfectly you just need light armor

Go to Na to watch FrugFrug a pure pro thrower :P with no armor you have enough speed to outrun people and with 10 pt you make enough damage to stun them. I played one gen of pure thrower with balanced stones and mw throwing lance and I had more fun with stones

also the goal of stones is to make people rage come to you while you poke them and run and giggle and run and poke and giggle and headshot and laugh and call teammate and run and giggle and poke and laugh and run and giggle and win.

also about the innacurate thing :

that one only for you turner ;P

You've been fooled. PT always gives the bonus.
