How much xp required to level up from level 31 to level 32?
-
8.5 million
-
You can also check exp to some level in one of character builders:
HERE (http://forum.meleegaming.com/beginner%27s-help-and-guides/crpg-character-builder-new-version-available/msg687763/#msg687763), HERE (http://forum.meleegaming.com/beginner%27s-help-and-guides/min-maxer-toolkit-character-builder-damage-calculator/msg174/#msg174) or HERE (http://forum.meleegaming.com/beginner%27s-help-and-guides/crpg-newgen-character-builder-archer-damage-calculator/msg452220/#msg452220).

almost exactly the same as 1-31

500k is nothing indeed. and btw you are higher lvl ==> better chance on high multi and strat battles make it go faster. you also have some more funtime.
however, if you play in the under lvl 21 server (wich i dont) , and you dont play strat battles, it might be slower. you also get no xp bonus
-
Am I being dense or is that 500 XP rather than 500 k xp
Getting to 32 takes twice the time as 1-31 I think. So if you go to 32 you spend 3/4 of all your time with a top competitive build and get the same gold for your time as going to 31. Just takes a bit longer until you can cash in your XP

To be exact: 8892403 Xp does it take to get from 31 to 32

Calculator gives some random outdated numbers, so Warlord you are most probably right.
-
THIS (http://forum.meleegaming.com/beginner%27s-help-and-guides/crpg-character-builder-new-version-available/) one is pretty accurate.
Just point with your cursor exp tnl value, it will show you exp range on specific level.
Two other calculators seems to be accurate only to lvl 30, after that they shows some random exp values.

With lvl 32 giving 2 heirloom points now, I would suggest most people wear <30k worth of gear and retire at 32. You will make 100k-200k gold, so you can trade the gold+2points for a +3 item every time you retire. You spend less time as a peasant, and getting a new +3 item every time you retire is more rewarding. You only have to grind for an extra 260k XP to make up for losing the 3% XP bonus you would have gotten if you retired at 31, so a couple hours. I'd rather play 2 hours at lvl 31 than spend any more time as a peasant.
Although getting kills as a peasant is rewarding too, so to each his own.

Wait wait...is this confirmed? I'm asking because I keep getting told it's 1 loom point no matter what lvl
-
Do you still get an XP bonus from retiring at 32?
-
Of course. You get 2 at lvl 32 and 3 at lvl 33.
And of course you get a Gen bonus when you retire at 32, but that would be stupid, because you would grind 31-32 without that said bonus. So when you don´t have the full Gen Bonus yet (Gen 16) you better retire with level 31 ;)
I was told by old players that it isn't so. Can you please provide evidence where you read that, please?
Ty
EDIT: I think the argument why it wouldn't be stupid is that you get to play with a strong char all the time for the second (or more) loom point *shrugs*
-
Erm I´m an Old player and I told you how it is.
I retired at level 33 btw and it gave 3 loompoints, and 32 gives 2 ;)
I'd like to believe that, but can't (for now at least)

this is as true as it can be
(i also retired at lvl 32 already)

If someone isn't hardcore player and don't intend to play too much, but wants to get some looms, it's better to retire at lvl 32. 3% xp more isn't that huge deal.
And yes, at lvl 32 you get 2 loompoints, 3 at lvl 33, 5 at lvl 34 (?) and 8 at lvl 35.
-
Could you elaborate why you don´t believe that? (Because well, it is true and shit, lol.)
I did believe at first and even though I had no idea how it worked, it seemed logical to me that it worked that way.
But I got "attacked" by few people saying "Oh cmon, you're being trolled! Don't believe everything you read!" etc :D
And since there is lots of trolling going around in the forums....I had to take it with a pinch of salt (I believe that is the expression)

Zaar, reading your post, your Faction info, and your sig made me have such a reaction, I'm still not sure how to process it. Well, it's mostly laughter, but it's so much more. In the context of life. Don't even bother wasting salt on this one though, just pretend it never happened. This. Just now.
