Sorry but I really question the intelligence of the item balance department sometimes.

Katana is awesome. Also, additional charge for that exotic weapon to keep its number in check.

Valid point there, it's really not. Will make it triple in the next patch.

Cool. I actually would much prefer it if made the upkeep same as plated charger to keep it "exotic" but actually balanced the stats.

I'm not a 2h hero (aka medieval Rambo), but I'd take the HBS or LS over the Katana.  Some like the look or the animations on the Katana (ghost reach from the curved blade).

Just as I would take actual armor in the 3k-4k range before I would ever take a wedding dress, but some people worry about the way things look (I don't, I go by stats)

Yes, I would like an exotic kayak for water maps as well. Kayak Archers FTW!

Full set of light strange armor and a katana will land you at ~1000 gold max upkeep. That seems to be the "intended" build for it, as you can maximize on your agility with lighter "mail" armor.

Nothing wrong with the katana.

Seriously though, I don't see why Japanese items even exist in this mod. Clearly none of the devs like them. Most of the community doesn't.
You get more hate for using a katana and strange armor than you do for a deli hat with a crossbow on a plated charger.

I don't see anyone "hate" on people for their equipment unless they are blatantly leeching.

I find that most people love ninjas behind closed doors. They just hate on weaboos for street cred.

Anyway, addition of chinese stuff proves that Asia is a part of cRPG.
