Title: [Video] DTV in a nutshell
Post by: Vaughn on December 31, 2012, 12:08:40 pm
So i was thinking of making a short video about DTV, in a nutshell. I made a little teaser to give you guys and idea of what I have in mind, and I really need suggestions for scenes such as seen in the teaser.
I don't think so, I simply say that its different and many people don't realise this, which results in them failing first few times :P Still funny for me :D

Bots are pretty brutal- unlike players, they have no fear, and have only learned how to block down (but are surprisingly good at random chambers). You basically always have to prepared to block the one behind the one you're fighting, and without cheesing the AI your team won't get very far if it's more than 4 people.
I've been making daily attempts to beat the game mode for a few weeks now, and man, does it suck to lose it all on the last round because one guy pulled a bunch of AI the wrong direction and died. I just want to finish it and never play it again, but I'm trapped. SOS.

I wish they reverted it back to Defend The Village, that version actually promoted fun teamwork besides now where you find a spot to trap all of the AI and just slowly kill them.

This. Its much easier when you have decent players on your team or even just a low player count. Lately the dtv server has more people than duel or rageball that are usually new to crpg and/or run out and waste their lives. Much more fun with coordinated players.
