Title: Donations
Post by: Rumblood on December 24, 2012, 04:32:45 pm
I've had nothing but grief from PayPal in the past and refuse to use them. I'll gladly donate out of my Amazon Payments account however. So where does it need to go?

Currently, that's not possible. If it was I would donated as well. Sadly, don't have PayPal account and unable to obtain one.

You don't actually have to have a paypal account to donate, but you do have to have a credit card.

Will it work if I put foreign country (let's say Slovenia) or does that credit card have to be from one of the listed countries?

Pretty sure if it is a recognized brand (i.e. Visa, matercard, etc) paypal will take it.

So I change the country to United States and it keeps the currency in Euros (which is fine, I found the conversion), but it wants me to put in a county, and doesn't allow me to choose a state...I don't live in the UK, so how does donations works :x

You don't actually have to have a paypal account to donate, but you do have to have a credit card.

There are companies that I will not do business with, especially not provide my credit card information. PayPal is one of them (AT&T is another). Its their own fault.

Lol, there was just an estonian parody about it. How our politicans beat our poor people up and give money to the Greeks so they can build a new Formula 1 track. And than the tanned salat eating greek says: "Ahh love yo soo much estonia, thank you, okay how much money you have". And the screen shows 4 million and the greek goes: "FFS, try harder, we need that F1 track!"  Was funny as hell.

Can't you just pick US without naming a state? Usually if you live in US and it says put in county etc you can skip it i think.

When I did it said I was missing the county and to select it...you'd think Paypal would have a nice enough interface when you choose the drop-down for another country, it wouldn't still try to make you pick a county in the UK...
