So, for some reason all my attempts at applying for Strat Battles end in failure. None of my applications register with the website. I apply and it's like I didn't apply. No change, no message sent to the leaders of the battles.
Anyone else have this problem? Any solution?

Yes, I am using my main character to apply.
I am not active on Strategus myself, I just like to merc; however, being active on Strat was never a prerequisite to merc'ing before.
I like my eggs scrambled, not poached.

If you click the apply button, does the message> You have applied to fight as mercenary for ****** appear? If so, this means you are not accepted, but in queue. Usually there are rollcalls before the battle (20-30min. before) on some teamspeak, which is mentioned in the info about battle/faction you applied for. If it does and you never get accepted, it might be due to you not being there for rollcall and/or low lvl.
If all above is not happening, than it is some web based bug i guess.

Ah! Thank you. You just made me realize I should try a different web browser, 'cause, yeah, none of the above was happening.
**Well, I would if any other browser other than Chrome worked on my computer. :\

try firefox, on some ocassions its even faster than chrome :) (like million tabs opened)

Yeah, I have firefox as my backup. For some reason chrome has always been the fastest on my computer. An interesting thing just happened though (aside from firefox not working at all even after uninstalling and installing latest version.) I'm accepted to a seige tomorrow night that I tried applying for. I happened to look in the roster. I still have no text telling me I'm accepted or anything, but apparently the applications DO go through even though it doesn't show. Probably some bug with chrome. If firefox ever starts working again, I'll give it a try on the crpg website. Not using explorer again though. *shudders* :)

Nope. I don't get any of that. I'll just have to constantly check the roster I guess. :P

Firefox was the only website supported for strategus...so I'd try applying for c-rpg battles using firefox

Your problem has nothing to do with the browers, both Chrome and FF are fine for crpg websites.
Your issue is that u are not on the strategus map, when your char has not been registered there, u get all kinds of weird issues when it come to strat battles and trying to apply for them.
Enter: http://strategus.c-rpg.net/
and you'll notice after a short while that all your issues will be gone.
