Title: Lost money from an auction

I recently bid 35k on a custom banner slot and I believe I must have been outbid then the auction ended for I got the message that I lost the auction, but received none of my gold.

was your character still in a clan atm you won/lost the auction?

Your gold is returned as soon as you are overbidden. The message says that you had 0 gold deposited because only the highest bidder has gold deposited.
