Print Page - cRPG not launching with WSE2 Beta

I have already nagged cmp about this, but I'll make a topic for ease of communication.

When I launch the cRPG launcher and I tick the WSE2 Beta and click Play cRPG, the actual cRPG client never launches. When I do it without the WSE2 Beta ticked it works fine and I can play the game and everything.

The launcher checks for WSE2 updates, tells me its updated, then the launcher dissappears and the normal Warband splash screen should show up, but it doesn't. I used to have the launcher in my quick launch bar until one day the quick launch icon lost the logo and it told me that the file which the shortcut linked to was gone. I had no clue where the original file was anyway, so I redownloaded the launcher and I have had that problem ever since. I need that fancy WSE stuff!

I have the same proplem too :(

I guess you hope that an admin will answer but what i would do, of you havent already done this, is to delete my crpg folder and the launcher and download the launcher again. Then download crpg and so on and try it.
If that does not work I would delete my whole warband and delete all the mbw relevant folders and reinstall mbw, launcher nad crpg

I guess you already did this but i just try to help :)

Actually, I think it's much worse than that. There is no code path in WSE2 that leads to a silent exit, so the only possible explanation is that the program doesn't even start executing my code. It might be your antivirus blocking it, your system being broken or infected or who knows what, but I'm pretty sure there's nothing I can do about it.

but before 23.12 version it was OK, and i have reinstalled my sistem from point of back up (made in August)

Do you still have a crpg_beta_log.txt in your Warband directory?
