As stated in the title.
I am working on an ambitious project, but I need max two voice actors more. I thought I should ask here in the community for my favorite mod of all time.
The guys I've already found are really talented, so I'm hoping some of you guys are too.
The setting
We're following the current m&b 'lore' as in we use the same faction names, but that's it.
I've made a story from scratch (still working on it tho). This is basicly about the fights for dominion over Calradia.
In this machinimas time period - Swadia is the dominant power, but they are slowly getting weaker and weaker.
They are fighting both the Rhodoks, who are slowly reclaiming lost colonies, and the Nords. Swadia has 'owned'
the Northern regions of Calradia for almost a century, but times are changing. The Nord chieftains are slowly
uniting their clans and forgetting their past disputes. Desperate times calls for desperate measures. General Vale
and Count Meltor of Swadia, who are leading the Swadian offensive in the Nord region, have agreed to meet with
a Nord snitch. He would leak strategic information about the Nord armies in exchange for gold.
Long story short - when the Swadians arrive, it's a trap. They've been led in an ambush and they're getting slaughtered.
The two roles who are currently open for voice actors is the following:
Count Meltor (5 - 6 lines) Adult voice with a preferred british/scottish/or otherwise knightly accent. (should you choose Count Meltor you should know that you will be playing a much larger role in a possible sequel. Be prepared that we will need you again later on!
Scene - you are facing the armies of Nords. General Vale calmly commanded your men to draw swords. As second-in-command it is your job to shout this even louder! (That's what they do in the movies anyway)
"Draaw Swooords!" Simple.
Scene - You've won the first fight, but it seems it was only scouts. Vale says "Was that all they had?" and you reply...
"There's more over there, sire."
Scene - After a long 1 on 1 fight between the Nord bad-guy and General Vale, you spot Vale getting perished...
"My General! Nooooo!"
"You will pay filthy Nord! Feel the wrath of the Lion!"
Guard (4 -5 lines) Adult voice.
Scene - A lone survivor from the battle returns to the Swadian capital. You are the one greeting him.
Guard (you): State your business, legionaire.
Courier: I bring news from the North, our squadron was ambushed.
Guard (you): Ambushed? Where's General Vale and Count Meltor?
Courier: "They're dead. All of them. They sent me back to inform you.
Guard (you): The great Paladin has perished? Follow me!
You enter the emperors chambers.
Guard (you): You must inform the Emperor, legionaire. Go!

Thought I'd portray the Swadian military a bit similar to the Romans. Plus Legionaire sounds much more badass than soldier.

Need a dodgy Australian accent to play an extremely deadly and talented one man army?
Also never let the bad guy win in a fair way, have one of his men kick the hero in the back or have him walk away only to throw an axe at the up to that point victorious hero.

Yes indeed, how British do you want it? London or posh? I'm sure Cymro and myself can fill the posh one. I would put Red forward for a more gruff voice.

Seems we dont get it Tenne :P the other thread says the actors have been chosen, therefore this thread was indeed pointless

Here's my life long dream, I am wondering if this "voice acting" would propel my career?
My Dream is:
To pursue my dream as a male stripper. My dream of male stripping came about when Dread(My Mentor) used to dance in front of me in a banana hammock thong. His exceptional dance moves awed me into a trance, and I knew then and there in our one studio apartment in New Jersey that I would pursue this dream where the money was hot.

As you said, the roles are filled up now, you're too late I'm afraid!
Tho, I will possibly be making a sequel where we can't reuse all the same voices for different characters! When the time comes, you are definitely on the team (if you want to :o)
