So i was playing some of DAT mount and blade warband singleplayer, and i looked up some mods and i found cRPG. i downloaded it and tried to play and noticed that every time i join a server i get banned / kicked for no reason.. Can someone help me ?
EDIT : Sometimes i can join a server but a few seconds later i get the : Lost connection to the server error

Well, you might have to wade through this technical jargon, but there are reports of the Win 7 firewall being disabled, but ports still being blocked. You could try google.
First though, go to control panel, system and security, under administrative tools, click on view event logs. Under windows logs, click on security. You can click on filter current log while on security and check error, critical, and warning. Look for a culprit there.
You might want to try enabling the windows firewall and click on allow a program through windows firewall and add c-rpg. (if it WF isn't turned on already)

I just did everything you said, now i get the Connection lost error more often, but still getting banned in the NA servers. im going to try creating another profile.
Nothing... Still getting banned T_T
Maybe im using the wrong a wrong version of the game ? i have 1.153 installed right now.

You should be using the c-RPG launcher, but perhaps you need to update Warband? If you use Steam, go to your library, right click, properties, then choose keep this game up to date. After it updates, change it back to do not automatically update.
My Warband is at 1.154.
When using the c-rpg launcher (v 0.8.7), it takes me straight into game where c-rpg version is 0.292 and then it says v1.143 so perhaps it uses the mb_warband_old.exe, but not certain there.

Hi guys!, I got the same problem showed on the screen of Djfabiokk;
I've got Win 7 and Warband 1.153 (not steam) and the cRPG launcher is at version 0.8.7
Native Multiplayer still works fine.
Can you help me please?

What servers are you guys trying to connect to? If EU, try NA. If NA, try EU. Let me know what you find. What other character names do you have in c-rpg?

I tried to connect in EU servers first, in fact i'm from Italy, but i got the ban message in the screen of Djfabiokk
so i tried to connect in NA servers and i got the message "connection to the server is lost", so i can't play in both type of servers.
This is my first character so I have to connect in one server, in order to receive the first password to complete the registration to the cRPG site.
Both mb_warband.exe, mb_warband_old.exe and the cRPG launcher are in the exceptions of my firewall.

Well....bans are done by cd key, and that screenie does say ban. You might message someone like Meow with your cd key to see what is up with it. Hopefully it is a new key and not one from a previously banned player.

Not to intrude, but he said that the native can play in multiplayer. The problem comes only from cRPG.
Rumblood: Are you saying that it is the first time someone plays the cRPG with his copy of WB may have this problem?

If an account if banned in c-rpg, it would still be able to play native...
To me, it looks like the CD Key is banned in c-rpg...

Very well, I know this. But is his first time in the cRPG how f.. is possible that his key is banned!
(I know that is his first time because I had asked him to come play with me in this mod.... ) ^^

Have him PM me his cd key and I can check against the NA perma ban list to see if it is on there. We don't type them in, so I don't know how this might have happened unless he bought it off of a previous player somehow. If it is a new key from Taleworlds/Steam, no, it shouldn't be banned simply because it is the first time playing the mod.
Also, it sounds like a global ban. Usually they are done by region. So something odd is up with your key.

The key is from cdkeyhouse. I know that it's a safe site for games keys. it isn't? :(

Well, doing some googling, it looks rosy at first. Then you see how aggressively this company appears to monitor the web and seems to stomp out any messages on forums that contain negative feedback of their site according to complaints I found about removed negative feedback. Given that their business is all about being trusted, I can understand that. You can still find some complaints of duplicate keys and one site with an entire page devoted to claiming a scam by that company. On that same full length page you can find someone claiming to have been sold fraudulent/disabled keys.
So, I don't know. Lots of posts saying it is a good and trustworthy company.

We got 4 or 5 keys from cdkeyhouse on the ban list, those guys sell the same key to multiple people.
That is no big deal for native warband but since in crpg all chars are bound to your key we need to ban those keys to prevent people from having their accounts hijacked.
So if you wanna play crpg you will need to get a key from a legit store.
Probably wanna wait a few days until the christmas sales start on steam and stuff so you can grab it cheap.
Do not buy from shady sites that only sell keys.
Also NEVER give your key to anyone.

Don't buy a key, buy a copy of the game that comes with a key :P Amazon usually has them very cheap (down to 5 bucks) and when Warband goes on sale through steam it's usually down to 5 or 10 American dollars.

Yeah, I just didn't know what else to do for the guy, certainly not trying to scam him out of a banned cd-key. :wink:
