Title: Name Change problem

hi, I have just changed my characters name, and I think something went wrong since now when I try to play with the new character I just get a naked char with no weapons or skills. What I did when I changed name was:

First I made a new character with the name I wanted. Then I logged in on the site with the "old" one and chose the new character to change name to. Then name change was pending. I didnt play for a while and next time I logged into the site my old char didnt exist anymore so I logged in with the new one which had inherited everything from the old one. So far so good. Then I tried playing with the new character, but in game I just get a lvl 0 with no equipment. (not even butchers knife and the other peasant stuff)

Anyone who knows what I might have done wrong and what I can do to fix it? I perhaps should mention that I changed gender on the character. The old name of the character was Claire_Of_Rose and the new one is Captain_Guts.

You're not supposed to change the gender. The gender is supposed to remain the same, you can change the look of the guy though.

If you change your characters gender mid-generation, yeah, it won't register. If you want to change gender, the time to do it is the first time you join a server, after retiring.

thanks, nice to figure out what went wrong. The char was only like lvl 17 or so (1st gen) so I just made a new one.
